66 Chinese aircraft and 14 warships were seen in and around the Taiwan Strait on Sunday as Beijing began military exercises of an unprecedented scale around the island on Thursday.

According to Wang Yi, the United States is using “fallacies” on Taiwan, and China’s actions are correct, proper and legal. It also aims to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
